Vía de la Plata

Stages on VdlP

Vía de la Plata is the longest Camino de Santiago in Spain, going from the south of the peninsula through Andalusia, Extremadura, Castilla y León to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. The itinerary has its origins in different Roman roads that the pilgrims took advantage of in the Middle Ages. It is characterized by huge distances between populations and extreme temperatures in summer.
